Sunday's Club Championship was another closely contested affair.
A fresh breeze and an immaculately presented course, playing its full length, provided a stern test to all competitors.
Setting the early pace with gross 77's were Stuart Milburn and Shaun Smith, a handful of players were within a few shots of the leaders leaving everything to play for in the afternoon round.
The best nett of the morning round went to Ian Wright with a 70, runner up was Stuart Milburn with 71.

The first player to set the clubhouse target was Callum Chaplin, his gross 80 added to his morning round 78 gave him a 2 round total of 158.
Shaun was next in, his 80 matched Callum, however his morning 77 give him a 1 shot lead on 157, this left Stuart needing a 79 to move to the top of the leaderboard, however Stuart could only manage an 82.
The final group on the course contained Josh Beecroft and Sean Burrows who had scored 82 and 81 respectively in the morning round.
Needing a 76 to take the lead, Josh could only manage an 87, this left Sean Burrows as the only player who could deny Shaun Smith his 16th Club Championship.
A front 9 of 3 over par meant Sean had to shoot level par on the tricky back 9, he duly obliged and posted a 75 for a 2 round total of 156 and deservedly take the Club Championship crown.
Sean's 75 also won him the best gross score in the afternoon, Kevin Henman also shooting 75 but losing out on the back 9.
The best nett in the afternoon also went to Sean on the back 9, this time it was Dave Dowie who was pipped, both players posting excellent nett 69's.
The Committee Cup, for the best nett score over the 2 rounds, was won by Ian Wright. Ian produced 2 very solid rounds of 70 and 71, just a shot back was runner up Dave Dowie.
After the players were all in the Club Captain presented the Club Championship and Committee Cup winners with their trophies.
All the trophies won on the day will be presented at the annual prizegiving on Saturday 29th October.
